Is it to do with the aura of political confidence—and youthful charm—that Emmanuel Macron is announcing around the world that the three big Paris fashion houses (plus Gucci) have decided that France is the place to show their Cruise collections this year? Chanel, Christian Dior, and Louis Vuitton have all ceased their far-flung travels and opted to treat their clients to immersive French experiences this season.
