LANVIN &BOUCHRA AROMA
After 15 months and two collections as creative director, Bouchra Jarrar is leaving Lanvin. As the head of her own couture house since 2010, the designer trained at some of the biggest labels, from Jean Paul Gaultier and Balenciaga during the Nicolas Ghesquière era to Christian Lacroix. She went on to present her first collection for Lanvin in October 2016, just one year after the departure of Alber Elbaz. Mixing delicate lines, her signature style has a subtle sensuality that explores neo-classical influences and contemporary design. Following her appointment to the French Ordre des Arts et des Lettres in Paris on June 28, the designer will end her time at one of the oldest and most renowned fashion houses.
